Creating panorama images step by step

1. Shooting panorama photos

Firstly, fix fisheye lens on the digital camera, mount the digital camera on the rotator, secondly, level the tripod, shoot a photo, and then rotate the camera for 180 degree, shoot another photo. Upload the two photos to the computer. Now you have two back-to-back hemispheres, which are enough for stitching a panorama image, as follows.

2. Optimizing hemisphere

Panoweaver for Windows is taken as the example on following introduction.

Click for loading the first hemisphere. Choose the first hemisphere.

Adjust the sliding bar of the first hemisphere to make the white circle surround the border of the first hemisphere. If you are not satisfied with the circling, readjust the sliding bar.

Process the second hemisphere in the same way: clickfor loading the second hemisphere.

Adjust the sliding bar of the second hemisphere to make the white circle surround the border of the second hemisphere. If you are not satisfied with the circling, readjust the sliding bar.

3. Stitching the panorama image and previewing

Fill in the height and width of the output image in the two blanks and select the output precision mode. Press the stitching button, and a rectangle panorama will appear in the stitching region:

The checkbox of "Seam Brightness Correcting" is selected by default. Once it is selected, the stitching seam will be removed automatically when stitching. Pressing the preview button, an html file will be generated. Click and drag your mouse to all directions or click the buttons on the tool bar, you can experience the 360 degree panorama in the browser.

4.Adding and removing ceiling and floor of panorama

Ceiling and floor of a panorama image can be used to hide the tripod cap and also to publicize your company logo.

Firstly please prepare two transparent gif images for the ceiling and floor of the panorama image. Then in the registered version of Panoweaver, click or to add the ceiling or floor to the panorama image. You can also click or to remove the ceiling and floor image from the panorama image respectively.

Once you have added the ceiling or floor, you can move the following sliders to change the height of the ceiling or floor of the panorama.

Please note that the ceiling or floor image will be applied to all the following stitched panorama images once you have finished the setting, so it is not necessary to set the ceiling and floor for every panorama image.

5. Saving the panoramic output image
Press the save button, and then a dialog will appear. Please input the image file format *.JPG (*.PSD *.BMP, *PNG). Click "Save" to save the panorama image. If you would like to adjust the image in Photoshop, please input the *.psd.
